  1. Youth Awareness Program

    Organize events on marine science and technology for youths with the aim of fostering their dreams and interest in the ocean.

    (1) “Umijuku” (Techno-Ocean Youth) (lectures, experiments and craft classes for elementary and junior high school students)
    (2) Participate in “The 18th Science Fair in Hyogo”
    (3) Co-sponsorship of ocean-related events such as “Underwater Robot Convention in JAMSTEC 2025
    (4) Co-sponsorship of the “Techno-Ocean 2025 Underwater Robot Competition”

  2. Offer Information and Exchange Programs

    (1) Publication of “Techno-Ocean News” (3 times a year)
    (2) Website management.
    (3) Organize TON seminars

    Purpose: To provide a venue for deepening mutual understanding of important issues in the marine field beyond the boundaries of specialized fields and industries, exchanging and sharing information, developing a basis for new innovation through discussion from a broad perspective, business matching and networking opportunities at the exhibition, and deepening public understanding of the marine field. The purpose of the exhibition is to provide a venue for discussion from a broad perspective to develop the basis for new innovations.

    Selection committees will be established for the Techno-Ocean Award and the Kenji Okamura Award for Pioneering the Frontiers of the Ocean, and winners will be selected.
