During Techno-Ocean 2016, the three ships were opened to the public simultaneously for the first time: the manned research submersible ”Shinkai 6500”, the deep-sea cruising probe ”Urashima”, and the deep-sea research submersible support mother ship ”Yokosuka”. The event also included a stamp rally that took visitors to the ship’s public exhibition site and Techno-Ocean 2016 site. |
